RORO explores the practices of traditional craftsmanship and couture based techniques, interpolating the human anatomy into an array of timeless and modern silhouettes.
"As a person of Caribbean and European descent, I find it meaningful to explore and incorporate my cultural background into my design practice. Drawing from my heritage as an ethnically diverse designer, I aim to blend traditional influences with a non western perspective on fashion in thoughtful and stylistic ways while staying true to slow fashion and craft based practices."
"My design process is fluid and organically intuitive. I often begin with basic blocks or a simple dress form, allowing each piece to evolve naturally. To me, design should tell a story, rich in aesthetic, depth and guided by a distinct narrative."
